Author: Mohd Parid Jaya — Focus: A warning against digital scams targeting the elderly and a call to return to physical neighborhood connections.

Many of us are struggling with our ‘Inner I’. The streets are empty until noon, yet the World Wide Web is deafening. Everyone is shouting for attention, hunting for the perfect slogan, desperate for a connection.

And now, the sharks are circling the elderly. They say, “Mastering AI is a need.” A need? In the Autumn season of your life? It is just the modern 419 scam—a new trick to fill the wallet of the so-called “Master.”

The Script vs. The Reality

Don’t buy the movie script; Bruce Willis was just an actor. Keep your feet on the ground. Real connection isn’t made by algorithms, and no filter changes the grace of growing older. That requires respect in the real world, not the digital one.

Be brave. Go outside. Your neighbors are the ones who can actually help you. If someone really cares, they don’t send a prompt; they come over for a coffee. Everything else is just business.
